The color is bright crimson red, with bright red and dark fruit aromas accented by spice box notes. The palate is rich with ripe berry fruit, more spice and subtle vanillin oak nuances, the mid palate is supple, and it finishes with balance, length and complexity. Wine Advocate The 2006 Pinot Noir is similarly styled but rounder and more full-flavored than the 2005. It should be drunk over the near term. Score: 87. —Jay Miller, October 2007. |
