Glen Eldon
Colour: Deep red brick. Nose: Dark chocolate and plum over tones, spicy oak. Palate: Intense mixed berries, white pepper and spice. Balanced tannin structure. Foods: Ideally suited to beef stews and rare roast beef or soft cheeses. However, just as good with a steak, chips and a few friends!
Wine Advocate
The 2005 Shiraz “Dry Bore” was aged for 18 months in new and used French and American oak. The wine is a saturated purple color offering up an alluring bouquet of violets, saddle leather, blackberry, and blueberry muffin. This leads to a stylish, racy Shiraz with a sense of elegance. Nicely balanced, it has generous ripe fruit, a smooth texture, good focus, and a long finish.

Supple and generous, with a strong coffee note coursing through the dark berry and licorice flavors, mingling nicely on the round finish.
