Enkidu Diener Ranch Petite Sirah 2005
Our inaugural vintage of Diener Ranch is a blockbuster. Characterized by a compelling black pepper spice that support plum, sage, licorice with hints of coffee and leather. This complex wine is full-bodied with refined mouth filling tannins and a finish that goes on and on. Wine Advocate This impressive new producer has turned out some attractive reds that merit serious attention. The outstanding, deep purple-colored 2005 Petite Sirah Diener Ranch offers smoky cassis and flower aromas and flavors, sweet tannin, medium body, and fine length as well as richness. This fairly priced, strong effort should drink well for 5-6 years. Score: 90. —Robert Parker, August 2007. |
