Two Hands Angel's Share Shiraz 2006
E-mail this item from Wine Pro OnlineTwo Hands Angel's Share Shiraz 2006 Dark black. The nose shows lifted notes of spice, followed by an amalgam of fresh espresso, rich chocolate, dark cherries and freshly roasted almonds. The mouthfeel is long, dense and coating with luscious liquorice, mocha, spice and blackberry flavours. With more fruit weight and tannin than previous vintages, this is a lot of fun to drink now but will age nicely. Wine Advocate The 2006 Shiraz “Angel’s Share has an expressive perfume of cedar, wood smoke, leather, pencil lead, pepper, and blueberry muffin. Velvety-textured and ripe, it has outstanding depth and length and a harmonious personality. Drink it over the next 6-8 years. Score: 93. —Jay Miller, October 2007.Wine Spectator Supple, generous and seductive, with lovely blueberry and pomegranate flavors on a velvety frame, offering hints of toast and cream as the finish lingers. Drink now through 2013. 5,000 cases made. Score: 90. —Harvey Steiman, October 15, 2007. |
