Wine Advocate The 2001 Barbaresco Riserva Rabaja is more generous than the Ovello, with a sweeter and more expansive core of ripe fruit and suggestive nuances of roses, menthol, licorice, minerals and tar. It offers outstanding length as well as definition with, building, yet fine tannins and a gorgeous balsamic note to cap off the finish. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2021.
